Brief About
Dr. Shahzad Ali Gill is a dynamic professional with a positive approach towards work and life. He earned his Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Pakistan’s top-ranked Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, an M.Phil. in Public Policy from Riphah International University, Islamabad, and a Ph.D. in Management from the Institute of Business, Management & Administrative Sciences (IBMAS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan.
He has served in multiple organizations of repute in different managerial and administrative capacities to deliver prestigious projects covering the developmental, educational, economic and security aspects of national life. He was also among the pioneers in launching degree programs in Public Administration in Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan back in 2012.
Dr. Gill is multilingual, having command over English, Urdu, Punjabi, Siraiki and Sindhi (basic) languages. Along with good communication and interpersonal skills, he possesses a good range of technical expertise in the field of HR, OD, project management, resource development, fundraising, donor stewardship, alumni relations and strategic communications.
Currently, he is working as a Director, Planning, Research & Quality Assurance (PRQA) at the Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan. Earlier, he has served as an Assistant Professor (Public Administration) in the Department of Public Administration at IUB. He has published widely in national and international research journals of repute. He has attended multiple national and international conferences, training workshops and symposia.
His areas of interest include public administration & management, public policy formulation, implementation & analysis, organizational behaviour, organization change & development, blue economy, blue governance, sustainable development and youth empowerment.
