Brief About
Dr. Sajid Ali Yousuf Zai got a doctoral degree in Educational Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Arkansas, USA. Dr. Sajid is an approved PhD supervisor by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Dr Sajid has published more than 15 research papers including six in Web of Science Journals. He presented 20 conference presentations at various international conferences in USA and Canada including American Educational and Research Association (AERA) from 2012 to 2016. His research publications are based on Web 2.0 technologies, social networking sites (SNS) for collaborative learning, teachers’ sense of efficacy, and advancing public Education in Pakistan.
Dr Sajid has more than 13 years of teaching experience including three years of teaching experience at the University of Arkansas, USA. Dr. Sajid also conducted several trainings in Pakistani and US universities in research designs, instrument development, testing, monitoring and evaluation, validation process, and data analysis in SPSS and SAS. In addition, he also worked with the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) for four years to assist in the effective implementation of the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) program. He also won several research and training grants from USAID, HEC, US Embassy and US States Department. Dr Sajid has experience in conducting various faculty development programs and he conducted more than 30 training in various Pakistani and US institutions mostly in the areas of Testing, Assessment, ICT in Education, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research Methods and Quantitative Data Analysis. He has also published a book titled “Quantitative Data Analysis”. Dr Sajid also developed a course module on Assessment and Evaluation for Higher Education Commissions, in Pakistan. Currently, Dr Sajid is the Lead Consultant for the Program Evaluation of the Aflatoon+ Project in Pakistan. A multicounty international project to promote social and financial education (SFE) among young students aged 13 to 19-year-old in less advantaged areas in Sindh and Baluchistan.
